SUMMARY:University of Roehampton PowerHouseGames 2023
DESCRIPTION:\nWe are delighted to announce our first PowerHouseGames with the University of Roehampton, one of our newest partners! The event will take place on the 14th November 2023 at the University. We can also announce that the games will be supported by Insight Investment. Our sponsors have a fantastic team morning providing volunteers to be team captains, leading the students through the games and learning lots too about the fun of inclusion and community cohesion. We are very excited.\n \n\n \nWe have yet to announce which schools will be joining us on the day so if your school would like to be part of this fantastic event please get in touch ( https://www.power2inspire.org.uk/contact-us/ ). We bring together students from primary and secondary schools in the state and private sector as well as a special needs school who will join the University squads in playing inclusive and adapted games such as boccia, new age kurling, and sitting netball. Twelve teams of six will play in colourful T-shirts, learning about inclusion, community cohesion and teamwork.\n \n\n
