DESCRIPTION:\nWe are delighted to announce our first ever PowerHouseGames with Bedford Blues Foundation, an organisation working across Bedfordshire and neighbouring areas to inspire their community through the values of rugby to promote positive and informed lifestyle choices.\nThe event will take place on the 19th September 2024 at the home of the Bedford Blues Rugby Club in Goldington Road.\n\nWe have yet to announce which schools will be joining us on the day so if your school would like to be part of this fantastic event please get in touch ( https://www.power2inspire.org.uk/contact-us/ ). We bring together students from primary and secondary schools in the state and private sector as well as a special needs school who will join volunteers from the Blues Foundation in playing inclusive and adapted games such as boccia, new age kurling, and sitting netball. Twelve teams of six will play in colourful T-shirts, learning about inclusion, community cohesion and teamwork.\n \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n\nBlues Foundation volunteers will lead us through the games as we all learn lots about the fun of inclusion and community cohesion.
