DESCRIPTION:\n \nPower2Inspire is delighted to announce a brand new partnership and a first PowerHouseGames with Anglia Ruskin University. The event will take place at the Chelmsford Campus and we are very much looking forward to it. It will take place at the excellent Mildmay Sports Hall on Tuesday 5th November 2024 bringing together a community of several local schools, university students and corporate volunteers.\n \n\n \nWe have yet to announce which schools will be joining us on the day so if your school would like to be part of this fantastic event please get in touch ( https://www.power2inspire.org.uk/contact-us/ ). We bring together students from primary and secondary schools in the state and private sector as well as a special needs school who will join the university students in playing inclusive and adapted games such as boccia, new age kurling, and touch rugby.  Twelve teams of six will play in colourful T-shirts, learning about inclusion, community cohesion and teamwork.\nWe have also yet to announce a corporate sponsor for the event. Our sponsors have a fantastic team morning providing volunteers to be team captains, leading the students through the games and learning lots too about the fun of inclusion and community cohesion.\n \n\n \n
