SUMMARY:University of Worcester PowerHouseGames 2025
DESCRIPTION:\nWe are delighted to announce our third PowerHouseGames with the University of Worcester, one of our Western UK partners! The event will take place on the 13th Feburary 2025 at the University of Worcester Arena ( https://arena.worc.ac.uk/ )! It will once again bring a community together from local schools and other partner organisations.\nYou can read about a previous year’s event, in partnership with Worcester Warriors Foundation and Worcester Bosch, here ( https://www.power2inspire.org.uk/worcester-university-powerhousegames/ ).\n \n\n \nWe have yet to announce which schools will be joining us on the day so if your school would like to be part of this fantastic event please get in touch ( https://www.power2inspire.org.uk/contact-us/ ). We bring together students from primary and secondary schools in the state and private sector as well as a special needs school who will join the Worcestoer University squads in playing inclusive and adapted games such as boccia, new age kurling, and sitting netball. Twelve teams of six will play in colourful T-shirts, learning about inclusion, community cohesion and teamwork.\nWe have also yet to announce a corporate sponsor for the event. Our sponsors have a fantastic team morning providing volunteers to be team captains, leading the students through the games and learning lots too about the fun of inclusion and community cohesion.\n\n
