DESCRIPTION:\nWe are delighted to announce our second PowerHouseGames with the University of Oxford! The event will take place on the 4th July 2025 at the fabulous Iffley Road Sports Centre.\nYou can read more about last year’s fantastic event here.\n\n \n \nWe have yet to announce which schools will be joining us on the day so if your school would like to be part of this fantastic event please get in touch ( https://www.power2inspire.org.uk/contact-us/ ). We bring together students from primary and secondary schools in the state and private sector as well as a special needs school who will join the University squads in playing inclusive and adapted games such as boccia, new age kurling, and sitting netball. Twelve teams of six will play in colourful T-shirts, learning about inclusion, community cohesion and teamwork.\n \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n\nOxford University will provide volunteers to be team captains, leading the school students through the games and learning lots too about the fun of inclusion and community cohesion. We are sure it’s going to be a brilliant event.\nWe are also looking for a corporate sponsor for the event.
