DESCRIPTION:\nWe are thrilled to be hosting our 2nd PowerHouseGames at the Cambridge Biomedical Campus, a thriving community where world-leading academic and industry scientists collaborate on the same site as the teaching hospitals of the University of Cambridge to tackle some of the significant healthcare challenges facing the world today.\nThe event will take place on the 10th September 2025 at The Green and The Gardens, outside the Royal Papworth Hospital.\n\n \n \n \n \nWe have yet to announce which schools will be joining us on the day so if your school would like to be part of this fantastic event please get in touch ( https://www.power2inspire.org.uk/contact-us/ ). We bring together students from primary and secondary schools in the state and private sector as well as a special needs school who will join employees from the Biomedical Campus in playing inclusive and adapted games such as boccia, new age kurling, and sitting netball. Twelve teams of six will play in colourful T-shirts, learning about inclusion, community cohesion and teamwork.\n \nYou can read about last year’s fantastic event here\n \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n\nBiomedical Campus volunteers will lead us through the games as we all learn lots about the fun of inclusion and community cohesion.
