SUMMARY:University of Worcester PowerHouseGames 2025
DESCRIPTION:\nWe are heading back to the brilliant University of Worcester Arena ( https://arena.worc.ac.uk/ ) for the second time this year(!) for another PowerHouseGames with the University of Worcester, one of our Western UK partners! The event will take place on the 5th November 2025. It will once again bring a community together from local schools and other partner organisations.\nYou can read about the fabulous event back in February 2025 here ( https://www.power2inspire.org.uk/worcester-university-powerhousegames/ ).\n \n\n \nWe have yet to announce which schools will be joining us on the day so if your school would like to be part of this fantastic event please get in touch ( https://www.power2inspire.org.uk/contact-us/ ). We bring together students from primary and secondary schools in the state and private sector as well as a special needs school who will join the Worcestoer University squads in playing inclusive and adapted games such as boccia, new age kurling, and sitting netball. Twelve teams of six will play in colourful T-shirts, learning about inclusion, community cohesion and teamwork.\nWe have also yet to announce a corporate sponsor for the event. Our sponsors have a fantastic team morning providing volunteers to be team captains, leading the students through the games and learning lots too about the fun of inclusion and community cohesion.\n\n
