SUMMARY:Cambridge University Rackets Club PowerHouseGames 2026
DESCRIPTION:We are excited to announce our first PowerHouseGames of 2026 with the Cambridge University Rackets Club. The event will take place on Friday 16th January 2026 at the brilliant University Sports Centre, bringing together a community of several local schools, rackets sports club members and corporate volunteers.\n \n\n \nWe have yet to announce which schools will be joining us on the day so if your school would like to be part of this fantastic event please get in touch ( https://www.power2inspire.org.uk/contact-us/ ). We bring together students from primary and secondary schools in the state and private sector as well as a special needs school who will join the men’s and women’s rugby blues squads in playing inclusive and adapted games such as boccia, new age kurling, and touch rugby.  Twelve teams of six will play in colourful T-shirts, learning about inclusion, community cohesion and teamwork.\nWe are also looking for a corporate sponsor for the event. A sponsor will provide volunteers to be team captains, leading the students through the games and learning lots too about the fun of inclusion and community cohesion.
