DESCRIPTION:After a wonderful first partnership event in 2025, Power2Inspire is delighted to announce a second PowerHouseGames with The Sports Trust, a not-for-profit charity that dismantles barriers to sports participation, based in Folkestone. The event will take place in Folkestone on Thursday 14th May 2026 bringing together a community of several local schools, and charity volunteers.\nYou can read about last year’s event here.\n\nWe have yet to announce which schools will be joining us on the day so if your school would like to be part of this fantastic event please get in touch ( https://www.power2inspire.org.uk/contact-us/ ). We bring together students from primary and secondary schools in the state and private sector as well as a special needs school who will join the university students in playing inclusive and adapted games such as boccia, new age kurling, and touch rugby.  Twelve teams of six will play in colourful T-shirts, learning about inclusion, community cohesion and teamwork.\n\nWe have also yet to announce a corporate sponsor for the event. Our sponsors have a fantastic team morning providing volunteers to be team captains, leading the students through the games and learning lots too about the fun of inclusion and community cohesion.\n \n
