Power2Inspire is delighted to continue its fabulous partnership with Cambridge Lakes Golf Course and to host its fifth Festival of Inclusive Golf.  This 9 hole par 3 course is a real gem, hidden behind the trees off the Trumpington Road in south Cambridge, and the ideal setting for another afternoon of fun, inclusive golf.

Ten teams – there is limited space so do sign up early – of four will play a round of golf, under “Texas Scramble” rules, which ensure everyone contributes to the team’s score.  And after the golfing fun, there will be drinks and a barbecue, for even more socialising.  Each team must have at least one disabled player, so everyone is welcome.

Teams – £50 for 4 players, remember to invite a disabled player. Ideal for a corporate outing!

Individuals – £15 each (to cover the round, a barbecue and drinks!).  We will find you a team to play in.

Relaxed, but wear sensible shoes (no stilettos!) as you will be walking.

The course will provide balls, clubs, score cards and pencils, but feel free to bring your own, if you have them.

Texas Scramble rules:

Everyone drives their ball.

The team selects the ball they wish to play (usually the best shot).

The other three team members move their ball alongside the chosen ball. Everyone plays their second shot (with their ball) from that spot.

Repeat until a ball goes in the hole.

Each team scores each hole so everyone participates and you play as a team.  Lowest overall score wins.

A wrinkle!  Each team must use all team members’ drives twice.  There are 9 holes so one player can use his/her drive three times. But think when choosing whose drive to play – tactics will play a part!

We would love you to join us for this fantastic inclusive event. Do get in touch if you have any questions and please sign up below!
