Volunteering

Our volunteers are AWESOME and the heartbeat of Power2Inspire. There are so many ways you can get involved in helping us bring alive our vision of “Inclusion through Sport”.

Whether you’ve regularly got loads of spare time, or just an occasional hour to spend, we would LOVE to hear from you. You don’t need to be sporty(!), super-fit or highly-skilled just get in touch and we’ll find a way for you to make a big impact.

There are other, non-event, opportunities too: if you are a whizz at social media, love editing video or still photographs, would like to edit our Newsletter, or just do some admin, all these roles and tasks are invaluable to us.

“It has been a real eye-opener to see how the community can come together, and to see how people with such a variety of disabilities can live their lives. It was the sort of event that restores my faith in humanity.”

Fun at the PowerHouseGames

“I have thoroughly enjoyed volunteering for Power2Inspire, and especially their PowerHouseGames. It is very rewarding to watch the fully inclusive teams come together during the course of the day, playing different sports where each team member can express themselves individually and collectively. The smiles and laughs of all the participants show that the Power2Inspire model really can bring the benefits of inclusive sport to every community.”

“I had a wonderful day at Lord’s with Power2Inspire. This session and the kind of engagement it provided was super as people with different abilities could get involved and do sports alongside each other with just a few adaptations, and this really helped to break down barriers. I have met lots of kind, enthusiastic, and brilliant young people who have reminded me that it’s really about having fun and bringing people together. Truly inspiring, and I look forward to getting involved again!“
