CU Netball/Rugby League PowerHouse Games 2023

We are thrilled to be hosting our second PowerHouse Games with the Cambridge University Rugby League and Netball clubs.  Partnered together, as they are (as yet) single sex clubs, they will come together to play inclusive sports with local independent, state and special schools from the Cambridge area.

The event will take place on the 13th January 2023 at the wonderful University Sports Centre and will again bring the community together.

We will be announcing the schools taking part very shortly. Students will join the fantastic students of the Rugby League and Netball clubs in playing inclusive and adapted games such as boccia, new age kurling, and touch rugby.  Twelve teams of six will play in colourful T-shirts, learning about inclusion, community cohesion and teamwork.

We also hope to announce a corporate sponsor who will provide volunteers to help lead the games. If your company is interested in being involved with this fantastic inclusive event, please do get in touch.
