University of Oxford PowerHouseGames 2026

We are delighted to announce our next PowerHouseGames with the University of Oxford sponsored by Oxford SDG Impact Lab.

The event will take place on the 10th July 2026 at the fabulous Iffley Road Sports Centre.

We have yet to announce which schools will be joining us on the day so if your school would like to be part of this fantastic event please get in touch. We bring together students from primary and secondary schools in the state and private sector as well as a special needs school who will join the University squads in playing inclusive and adapted games such as boccia, new age kurling, and sitting netball. Twelve teams of six will play in colourful T-shirts, learning about inclusion, community cohesion and teamwork.

Oxford University will provide volunteers to be team captains, leading the school students through the games and learning lots too about the fun of inclusion and community cohesion. We are sure it’s going to be a brilliant event.
