University of Worcester PowerHouseGames 2026

We are heading back to the brilliant University of Worcester Arena for another PowerHouseGames with the University of Worcester, one of our Western UK partners! The event will take place on the 20th March 2026. It will once again bring a community together from local schools and other partner organisations.

We have yet to announce which schools will be joining us on the day so if your school would like to be part of this fantastic event please get in touch. We bring together students from primary and secondary schools in the state and private sector as well as a special needs school who will join the Worcester University squads in playing inclusive and adapted games such as boccia, new age kurling, and sitting netball. Twelve teams of six will play in colourful T-shirts, learning about inclusion, community cohesion and teamwork.

We are delighted to announce that this year’s event will be sponsored by Southco, the leading global designer and manufacturer of engineered access solutions. They have their UK Europe manufacturing headquarters in Worcester so we are looking to meeting their fantastic team on the morning as they provide volunteers to be team captains, leading the students through the games and learning lots too about the fun of inclusion and community cohesion.
