Power2Inspire has created a series of policies proportionate to the nature, size and scale of its
operations. These policies have been approved by the Directors and are listed below. The list
also shows the person responsible in respect of each policy. The policies will be reviewed at

Terms defined in the glossary below have the same meaning in these policies.
Glossary
Ambassador
A supporter of the charity used to inspire and motivate others, as well as sharing their enjoyment of Sport. They are advocates and role models.

Charity representative
Each Trustee and employee of the Charity (including the CEO), each coach and other contractor providing services [to or] on behalf of the Charity and each ambassador or volunteer acting on the Charity’s behalf.
Director
Each director of the Charity and collectively “the Board of Directors”.
Participant
Each of those taking part in an event organised by the Charity. This expression includes (whether or not themselves actually taking part in the relevant event) each parent or carer of such a person and any other person who is, in each case, attending the relevant event
Protected Characteristics
has the meaning given in the Equality Act 2010.
References to legislation in the policies should be understood to be to the relevant legislation as amended or replaced from time-to-time.

Policy Review Cycle
All policies are reviewed annually in April. Refer to the table above to see the person responsible
for reviewing each policy. Reviews may occur sooner if significant changes in law, best practice or
organizational activity require an update.
Acknowledgement and Understanding
All charity representatives are expected to read, understand, and comply with the policies relevant
to their role. Acknowledgement of receipt and understanding may be requested during onboarding
or at any point thereafter.
