Sports Trust PowerHouseGames 2026

After a wonderful first partnership event in 2025, Power2Inspire is delighted to announce a second PowerHouseGames with The Sports Trust, a not-for-profit charity that dismantles barriers to sports participation, based in Folkestone. The event will take place in Folkestone on Thursday 14th May 2026 bringing together a community of several local schools, and charity volunteers.

We have yet to announce which schools will be joining us on the day so if your school would like to be part of this fantastic event please get in touch. We bring together students from primary and secondary schools in the state and private sector as well as a special needs school who will join the university students in playing inclusive and adapted games such as boccia, new age kurling, and touch rugby.  Twelve teams of six will play in colourful T-shirts, learning about inclusion, community cohesion and teamwork.

We have also yet to announce a corporate sponsor for the event. If your company would like to take part through, sponsorship, providing volunteers we would love to hear from you. Our sponsors have a fantastic team morning providing volunteers to be team captains, leading the students through the games and learning lots too about the fun of inclusion and community cohesion.

 


St Peter's Billericay Games2Inspire 2025

We are delighted to be back at St Peter's Catholic Primary School in Billericay for our 4th Games2Inspire event! Students will participate in different inclusive sports, such as boccia, new age kurling and goalball.

We are sure they will have a fantastic day.

 

 

Students, teachers, and volunteers will focus on the spirit of inclusivity and the opportunity to learn about and participate in adaptive sports. We hope students will discover new sports and develop a greater appreciation for the abilities of disabled athletes.


OneSchool Global Games2Inspire 2025

We are looking forward to returning to Hertfordshire University for the 2nd Games2Inspire event with OneSchool Global - one of the world’s largest and most comprehensive, truly global schools.

Students will participate in different inclusive sports, such as Goalball, New Age Kurling, Sitting Netball and Sitting Volleyball in the school hall, learning about the power of inclusion in action. They will also meet our Chief ambassador, John Willis, born without arms and legs, and learn how he overcomes the various obstacles he faces. We are sure they will have a fantastic day.

 

 


University of Birmingham PowerHouseGames 2025

We are excited to be able to announce a brand new partnership with the University of Birmingham in association with Access Sport and Sport Birmingham.

Access Sport is committed to bringing the benefits of community sport to underserved communities in Birmingham by training, equipping and supporting community sports clubs and expanding access to inclusive sports across the city.

Sport Birmingham is a charity that recognises that the power of sport and physical activity goes beyond just physical health and wellbeing. Sport Birmingham also aim to collate and share best practice in disability equality across the city, working to increase opportunities for disabled people to access physical activity and sport.

As you can imagine, therefore, we are really looking forward to our first ever Birmingham PowerHouseGames!!

The event will take place on Friday the 28th November 2025 at the University of Birmingham Sport and Fitness Centre. Our sponsors will have a fantastic morning providing volunteers to be team captains, leading the students through the games and learning lots too about the fun of inclusion and community cohesion. It's going to be great fun.

After a fantastic event last year, we are so thrilled to be heading back to St Ursula's Catholic Primary School in Essex for our 2nd Games2Inspire!

Students will participate in different inclusive sports, such as Goalball, New Age Kurling, Sitting Netball and Sitting Volleyball in the school hall, learning about the power of inclusion in action. They will also meet our Chief Ambassador, John Willis, born without fully-formed arms and legs, and learn how he overcomes the various obstacles he faces. We are sure it's going to be another fantastic day.
