The Barr Ellison Ickworth 10k hoohaah 2022
Power2Inspire is delighted to be an official charity partner of the The Barr Ellison Ickworth 10k hoohaah 2022.
The Barr Ellison Ickworth 10k hoohaah 2022 is the third in a series of four 10k races which can be entered as a standalone event or as part of the series. Completion of 3 of the 4 races in the series entitles you to a free hoohaah hoodie!
The hoohaah Barr Ellison 10k at Ickworth is a single lap, traffic free route starting in front of the classical rotunda and following the Ickworth Monument multi-use trail through the parkland and woodland of this stunning National Trust estate. Ickworth is nestled in rolling countryside and some moderate hills form part of the course.
You can find out more and book your place by clicking the Register link.
We are also looking for help with marshalling the course on the day. If you would be willing to come and join in at this beautiful course then please click here to fill in your details and we'll be in touch soon. Thank you.
Festival of Inclusive Golf 2022
Power2Inspire is delighted to continue its fabulous partnership with Cambridge Lakes Golf Course and to host its eighth Festival of Inclusive Golf! This 9 hole par 3 course is a real gem, hidden behind the trees off the Trumpington Road in south Cambridge, and the ideal setting for another afternoon of fun, inclusive golf.
Ten teams (there is limited space so do sign up early) of four will play a round of golf, under "Texas Scramble" rules, which ensure everyone contributes to the team's score. And after the golfing fun, there will be refreshments, with prizes announced. Each team must have at least one disabled player, so everyone is welcome.
Best of all, it's completely FREE!

The 2022 games were a huge success. You can read all about them here.
We are yet to announce which schools will be joining the club for this fantastic event, so watch this space and we will update it when we know more. If you would like your school / college to take part then please contact us. Students will join the men's and women's cricket squads in playing inclusive and adapted games such as boccia, new age kurling, and touch rugby. Twelve teams of six will play in colourful T-shirts, learning about inclusion, community cohesion and teamwork.
We are also looking for a corporate sponsor for the event. A sponsor will provide volunteers to be team captains, leading the students through the games and learning lots too about the fun of inclusion and community cohesion.
