Leicester Tigers Foundation PowerHouseGames 2025

We are delighted to announce our fourth annual PowerHouseGames with the Leicester Tigers Foundation! The event will take place on the 21st May 2025 at the home of Leicester Tigers, Welford Road Stadium!! It will bring the local community together from schools and other partner organisations.

Everyone will come together to play inclusive and adapted games such as boccia, new age kurling, and touch rugby.  Twelve teams of six will play in colourful T-shirts, learning about inclusion, community cohesion and teamwork.

University of Oxford PowerHouseGames 2025

We are delighted to announce our second PowerHouseGames with the University of Oxford! The event will take place on the 4th July 2025 at the fabulous Iffley Road Sports Centre.

We have yet to announce which schools will be joining us on the day so if your school would like to be part of this fantastic event please get in touch. We bring together students from primary and secondary schools in the state and private sector as well as a special needs school who will join the University squads in playing inclusive and adapted games such as boccia, new age kurling, and sitting netball. Twelve teams of six will play in colourful T-shirts, learning about inclusion, community cohesion and teamwork.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Oxford University will provide volunteers to be team captains, leading the school students through the games and learning lots too about the fun of inclusion and community cohesion. We are sure it's going to be a brilliant event.

We are also looking for a corporate sponsor for the event. A sponsor will provide volunteers to be team captains, leading the students through the games and learning lots too about the fun of inclusion and community cohesion. SuperSensory1K Histon 2025

Power2Inspire is thrilled to host the seventh annual SuperSensory1K, a 1,000m loop of Histon Recreation Ground. It’s a truly inclusive event, as you can travel the distance in any way you want, including walking, wheeling and running.

To add to the fun there are five sensory stations along the route: celebrating smell, touch, sight, hearing and taste.

It will take place from 11am on Bank Holiday Monday, 5th May 2025. It’s all part of the Histon & Impington Running Festival (just outside Cambridge), making this a beacon of inclusive sport in the region.


Goodenough College PowerHouseGames 2025

We are delighted to announce our third PowerHouseGames with Goodenough College, in Central London. The event will take place on the 1st March 2025 in their wonderful Hall and will again bring the community together.

We will be announcing the schools taking part very shortly. Students will join the fantastic students of Goodenough College in playing inclusive and adapted games such as boccia, new age kurling, and seated netball.  Twelve teams of six will play in colourful T-shirts, learning about inclusion, community cohesion and teamwork.

We can also announce that the Varrier Jones Foundation will be partnering with us as the event sponsor.  They will also provide volunteers to help lead the games.

Murray Edwards & Peterhouse PowerHouseGames 2025 with illumina

We are delighted to announce our first ever PowerHouseGames with Murray Edwards College and Peterhouse College in Cambridge! The event will take place on Thursday the 6th March 2025 at the University Sports Centre in partnership with global genomics and human health leader, illumina! It will bring a brand new community together from local schools and other partner organisations.

 

We have yet to announce which schools will be joining us on the day so if your school would like to be part of this fantastic event please get in touch. We bring together students from primary and secondary schools in the state and private sector as well as a special needs school who will join the men's and women's rugby blues squads in playing inclusive and adapted games such as boccia, new age kurling, and sitting netball.  Twelve teams of six will play in colourful T-shirts, learning about inclusion, community cohesion and teamwork.

We are sure illumina will also have a fantastic team morning providing volunteers to be team captains, leading the students through the games and learning lots too about the fun of inclusion and community cohesion. illumina have worked with us on a number of different occasions.
