Abacus Junior School Games2Inspire 2025
We are delighted to be heading back to the wonderful Abacus Junior School for our third Games2Inspire event! Over two days Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 students will participate in different inclusive sports, such as Goalball, New Age Kurling, Sitting Netball and Sitting Volleyball, learning about the power of inclusion in action. They will also meet our Chief ambassador, John Willis, born without arms and legs, and learn how he overcomes the various obstacles he faces. We are sure they will have a fantastic day.

St Ursula's Catholic Primary School Games2Inspire 2024
We are delighted to be heading to St Ursula's Catholic Primary School l in Essex for our 1st ever Games2Inspire event!
Students will participate in different inclusive sports, such as Goalball, New Age Kurling, Sitting Netball and Sitting Volleyball in the school hall, learning about the power of inclusion in action. They will also meet our Chief Ambassador, John Willis, born without fully-formed arms and legs, and learn how he overcomes the various obstacles he faces. We are sure they will have a fantastic day.
Students, teachers, and volunteers will focus on the spirit of inclusivity and the opportunity to learn about and participate in adaptive sports. We hope students will discover new sports and develop a greater appreciation for the abilities of disabled athletes.
Care City PowerHouseGames 2024
Power2Inspire is delighted to announce a brand new partnership and a first PowerHouseGames with Care City, an innovation centre for healthy ageing and regeneration, based in Barking. The event will take place in Dagenham on Friday 6th December 2024 bringing together a community of several local schools, and charity volunteers.
We have yet to announce which schools will be joining us on the day so if your school would like to be part of this fantastic event please get in touch. We bring together students from primary and secondary schools in the state and private sector as well as a special needs school who will join the university students in playing inclusive and adapted games such as boccia, new age kurling, and touch rugby. Twelve teams of six will play in colourful T-shirts, learning about inclusion, community cohesion and teamwork.
We have also yet to announce a corporate sponsor for the event. If your company would like to take part through, sponsorship, providing volunteers we would love to hear from you. Our sponsors have a fantastic team morning providing volunteers to be team captains, leading the students through the games and learning lots too about the fun of inclusion and community cohesion.
Churchill School Games2Inspire 2024
We are delighted to be heading to Churchill School in Haverhill for a brand new Games2Inspire event! Churchill have been brilliant participants at some of our Cambridge University PowerHouseGames events. The students have enjoyed the inclusive games so much that we have arranged to do a full Games2Inspire event at their school! Students will participate in different inclusive sports, such as boccia, new age kurling and goalball.
We are sure they will have a fantastic day.

University of Roehampton PowerHouseGames 2024
We are excited to be back at the University of Roehampton, for another PowerHouseGames! The event will take place on Friday the 22nd November 2024 at the Roehampton Sports and Fitness Centre. We can also announce that the games will be supported by Blackstone, the worlds largest alternative asset manager. Our sponsors will have a fantastic morning providing volunteers to be team captains, leading the students through the games and learning lots too about the fun of inclusion and community cohesion. It's going to be great fun.
