SuperSensory1K Shelford 2023
Power2Inspire is thrilled to announce a brand new SuperSensory1K, as part of the annual Shelford Fun Run on Sunday 10th September 2023. The SS1K will involve a 1,000m flat course and, as a truly inclusive event, you can travel the distance in any way you want, including walking, wheeling and running.
To add to the fun there are five sensory stations along the route: celebrating smell, touch, sight, hearing and taste.
It will take place at 10.30am on Sunday 10th September 2023. It’s all part of the annual Shelford Fun Run 5k (just outside Cambridge), and we can’t wait to introduce our innovative and inclusive Super Sensory 1K to this brilliant event.
Super Sensory 1K Histon 2023
Power2Inspire is thrilled to host the fifth annual SuperSensory1K, a 1,000m loop of Histon Recreation Ground. It’s a truly inclusive event, as you can travel the distance in any way you want, including walking, wheeling and running.
To add to the fun there are five sensory stations along the route: celebrating smell, touch, sight, hearing and taste.
It will take place from 11am on Bank Holiday Monday, 1st May 2023. It’s all part of the Histon & Impington Running Festival (just outside Cambridge), making this a beacon of inclusive sport in the region.
Festival of Inclusive Boccia Apr '23
Come and join us for our second Festival of Inclusive Boccia at the Cambridge University Sports Club in April!
Boccia is a fabulous Paralympic sport that EVERYONE can play together whether you're young, old, experienced or playing for the very first time. You can play it in a chair, or standing up - it's one of our very favourite INCLUSIVE sports! We are looking forward to great fun together at the fabulous indoor sports hall in Cambridge. It should be a brilliant event for all the family. EVERYBODY is welcome to come and join in, no matter what your ability. Middlesex Cricket PowerHouseGames 2023
We are delighted to announce our first Middlesex Cricket PowerHouseGames. The event will take place on the 24th March 2023 at the incredible Lord's Cricket Ground, the home of English Cricket, in St John's Wood, London.
We will be announcing the schools taking part very shortly. Students will join members of Middlesex cricket in playing inclusive and adapted games such as boccia, new age kurling, and kwik cricket. Twelve teams of six will play in colourful T-shirts, learning about inclusion, community cohesion and teamwork.
We also hope to announce a corporate sponsor who will provide volunteers to help lead the games. If your company is interested in being involved with this fantastic inclusive event, please do get in touch.
TTP Cambridge Half Marathon 2023
Power2Inspire is delighted to be an official local charity partner of the TTP Cambridge Half Marathon.
However, entries for the 2023 Half Marathon are now CLOSED.
